I love the gutters but the installation and follow-up was something to be desired.

The guards have ice on them in the winter. The water is supposed to flow in and out. It goes over the gutters and ices up. I got an email, and in the email, I was told I needed more insulation in the attic, but I was not told this when they did the gutter guard installation in the beginning.

The LEAFGUARD of Raleigh needs to be certain their address is CURRENT AND CORRECT. Their company moved and didn’t include this pertinent information with their PAYING CUSTOMERS!! I was mailing my payments (by certified mail, at an extra cost to me to ensure they received it) to the WRONG ADDRESS UNKNOWINGLY!!! We went back and forth for a few weeks until it was discovered!!!!😡😡😡😡 Additionally, I still have NOT RECEIVED MY RECEIPT FOR PAYMENT FROM AS I REQUESTED!!😳

I was not happy with the configuration of the gutters. They changed them from what they were originally, and they are not as good.

While product is high quality, contracting process was difficult. Far too many client signatures required for contract (>20 versus 1 signature with roofing contractor for 3 times the contract value). LG refused to subcontract their much smaller scope to roofing contractor, creating extra contracting effort for client. I had to intervene with installer and home office to remove extra backing board specified by salesman for contract scope.
