LeafGuard is costly. I considered them along with one of their primary competitors. Both explained why their product is the best and talked down the other guy's product. What sold me on LeafGuard was the way they wrap your facia board. Helps prevent or at least retard board rot. I checked my flow during a good rain. All good except in one inset corner of my roof where the water was coming down the roof too fast and at too high of a volume to make the turn into the gutter.

Like product, not that impressed with install.

As far as the gutters are concerned, they did a good job. The cleanup afterward is what gives this a lower rating.

They said the gutters would stop my driveway from flooding, but they didn't.

I like the product but think it was too expensive. After further consideration, I could have had a few gutters replaced as necessary and had a filtering system installed for much less. The difference could have paid for many cleanings over the years.

The gutters look great, but in practice, the water comes over the side of them and ends up splashing the foundation of the house. Also, the installation with Leafguard is expensive. When I look back at the old gutters I had, they were hard to clean, but they kept water from splashing on my home. The new gutters are great, but the water splashes. When a lot of water fills up in the gutters, it overflows the lip and, as a result, splashes over the foundation.

Your pressure to sign contract is not comfortable. One should have time to make comparisons.

It's a nice product and we had been searching for something like this for some time. The high pressure sales pitch is very off putting. As seniors we know what we want when we see it and want to get to the bottom line and get annoyed to waste our time with a boring presentation that seemed endless and didn't help us in comparing companies products (we already had a major brand compared product on our home).

Salesman was adamant that condition of fascia would require replacement of portions and included costs associated with that. The installation crew was adamant that the condition of the fascia was not in need of any repair. Who’s right? Was this senior citizen taken advantage of in terms of final quote vs. actual final cost? I.E., did I pay more than I should have due to misleading information at the front end?
